Planned Gifts

Gifts enhance your estate by helping increase cash flow, reduce taxes and avoid the cost of probate. You can also be relieved of capital gain tax when appreciated property is used to fund this type of gift. Planned gifts offer numerous tax-wise options. These many options can be discussed and reviewed with your financial advisor and the Foundation to allow the design of a plan that best reflects your personal and financial wishes.

Scholarship can be awarded in your name or the name of another person you select, on an annual basis, in perpetuity. You can make a donation and provisions in your estate planning through the Foundation, which will help worthy students continue their education.

All gifts qualify as charitable donations and are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

CHARITABLE LEGACY TRUST

This is an insurance instrument that has a provision to benefit in part, the Foundation, which is granted within a couple of years after the instrument is issued.

BEQUEST THROUGH RETIREMENT PLANS, INSURANCE, TRUST AND WILLS

With this type of plan, the Foundation is included as a beneficiary that is activated when a person passes. This may take the form as cash, stocks, bonds, real and personal property.

ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION

This is a donation given on an annual basis to the Foundation. This involves the establishment of a Stewardship for a desginated period and amount, which continues until the commitment is realized.

ONE TIME DONATION

A donation or gift that is used for the designated purpose. Usually these gifts are awarded in the year received.
